Documents have multiple purposes.  They are used by many tools.  They can be added by members.  Below is a list of some of the features of documents.

Differences Between Documents and Resources

Documents in many ways are similar to resource pages.  However, their purpose is different and some of the differences include:


Managing Documents


1- Adding a document (your-domain.com/admin/documents)

Step1:


Click Add A Document link to create new document



Step2:(your-domain.com/admin/adddocument)
Enter document title & content then use settings to customize document settings as showing below:
Select document category

Category


Select document sub-category

Sub Category


Select the order of the document in the results.
Documents with the same order are sorted alphabetically

Order

Select an icon to show next to the document in the results

Icon

Select if confidential (the owner is the only one who can view it)

Is Confidential

Select if others can edit it (locked or unlocked)

Others Can Edit

Then click the add document button


Created documents will be shown in your-domain.com/admin/documents page




2- Adding Document Categories (your-domain.com/admin/documentcategories)
Type document category title then click the Add button

3- Add Sub Categories (your-domain.com/admin/documentcategories)

Step1:
(in your-domain.com/admin/documentcategories)
click edit icon Edit next to the document category
you want add a sub category to which you want to edit

Enter Sub Category title then click the Add button
