Overview
SFTP is a secure version of FTP (File Transfer Protocol) that allows you to securely upload files to your server. SFTP is only given to clients who have us setup a dedicated server or cloud server for their system/account. With SFTP we use RSA key authentication. Key authentication is an alternative to password authentication. Due to the high volume and frequency of hackers trying to hack into servers by guessing/cracking the password, we have totally disabled password authentication and the only method of authentication supported is key authentication.

The following guide will show you how to setup SFTP with key authentication using FileZilla. FillaZilla is a free FTP client that supports SFTP and key authentication. To download a copy of FileZilla click here.
