Web Page Tracking Campaigns
The tracking tool is a tool that comes with the page creator tool. With it members can set up different tracking campaigns which allows them to see which campaign is converting the best.
How to Setup Tracking
To create a tracking campaign put the title for the campaign in the title box and click setup tracking. It will take you to the list of your pages and each page will have a button to click to assign the page to the tracking. After assigning a page to the tracking you then are provided with a URL to use for that page for that tracking campaign to track all visits to the page and contacts generated from the page.
Examples of Using Tracking
- Facebook Campaigns - You can use tracking to know how well you are getting results from your marketing on Facebook. You can setup separate Facebook accounts for different marketing you do on Facebook. For example you can do one titled facebook-biz for your link on your Facebook business page. Another titled facebook-per for your personal page. Another titled facebook-post for your Facebook posts. Another titled facebook-group for your posts in groups. This way you will know exactly which things you are doing in Facebook are giving results and exactly how much of a result you are getting.
- Postcard Mailings - If you are doing postcard mailings you can setup a tracking for each mailing you do to know the results from that mailing. To make it simple you can either setup a domain to forward to the tracking url or use our URL shortner that way the URL on the postcard is easier for people to type into their browser than the long default tracking url.
- Banner Ads - When doing banner ads you can use a different tracking campaign for each one you setup so you know which advertising company is giving you the best results.
Tracking gives you the power to know exactly where people are coming from. There is no limit to the ways you can creatively use tracking to identify what is making you money and what is a waste of time.
