Why don't my members have the option to select ...

Question   Why don't my members have the option to select a 3rd party autoresponder in their members area?



Answer    To allow members using 3rd party AR , set Allow 3rd Party Autoresponder in Advanced Features settings to yes.

Members can add their own 3rd party AR using one of two methods


First Method: From my settings
Go to My Settings then click setup 3rd party AR . This AR will be public for all capture pages



Second Method: From page editor
This option only exists if members are able to edit the pages themselves.



Setup 3rd Party AR


Form settings -> 3rd party Autoresponder -> Click setup 3rd party AR.

A. When using a 3rd party autoresponder the contacts will show in neither place.
The only thing that will show is page views for when the contact visits the page, but no conversion or optin stats.

However, if you turn on the setting to have the contact captured in both places (the 3rd party autoresponder AND your members area) then the stats will work.

A. No, do not use the code from the HTML Form Code page.
That code is for the Member to use on some 3rd party website.
This method is only attached to 1 specific Member.

Instead, you want to properly install the page, and then it will use any 3rd party autoresponder setup on a per an Member basis.
Have your developer view the page installation overview page to learn the page installation process.

A. When using a 3rd party autoresponder the notification would come from the 3rd party autoresponder, and not from the system, unless you have the feature turned on where it will add the contact to both your system and the 3rd party autoresponder.
