Passup qualification plans force a member to loose some of the people they refer to their parent. These plans are especially good for programs where the parent is encouraged to help the member get started by "coaching" them through or even handling their first few sales. The new members that are passed up to the parent then form what is called pay legs for that parent. A member you sponsor that is passed up is referred to as your Qualifier.
Let's walk through an example of how the passup works. For the example let's use the 1UP compensation plan, the simplest of the pass up compensation plans.
1st) April joins under the admin.
2nd) April refers Beth (passed up to admin)
3rd) April refers Charles (kept)
4th) April refers David. (kept)
5th) Beth refers Zack (passed up to admin)
6th) Beth refers Yvonne (kept)
7th) Zack refers Keith (passed up to admin)
8th) Yvonne refers Marry (passed up to Beth)
In this example you can see a pay leg is starting to form under the admin. With the 1UP compensation plan Members create pay legs under them when someone they refer in turn refers their first person. All first referrals from that leg pass up to the member. In our example the leg comes from these 3 referrals:
2nd) April refers Beth (passed up to admin)
5th) Beth refers Zack (passed up to admin)
7th) Zack refers Keith (passed up to admin)
Overview
Every member must pass up the first person they refer to their sponsor. The person passed up is their qualifying referral. Exa: Members A, B, and C sign up. A signs up under the admin. B signs up under A and is passed up to the admin. B becomes A's qualifying referral. C signs up under A and becomes A's first leg in their downline. The first person that C signs up will then be passed up to A.
Overview
Every member must pass up the second and fourth person they refer to their sponsor. Exa: Member John refers members 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 in that order. 1 is kept by John. 2 is passed up to John's sponsor. 3 is kept by John. 4 is passed up to John's sponsor. 5 is kept by John and anyone that signs up after 5 is also kept by John.
Overview
Same as the Reverse 2-UP except for every 5th person is passed up in addition. This means the second, fourth, ninth, fourteenth, nineteenth, etc. is passed up.
Overview
Every member must pass up the 3rd, 6th and the fifth member after 6th to infinity to sponsor.
Overview
Every member must pass up the 2nd, 4th and 6th then every fifth person after the 6th person they refer to their sponsor.
Overview
Every member must pass up all his even members to parent. Exa: Member A refers members B,C,D,E and F in order. B,D are kept by A. C,E are passed to parent and like that to infinity.
