Question   On the Pro Software, is there a place where I can find detail on each line item of "Memberships"?

Overview
Memberships allow you to put your Members into different groups.
You setup several memberships and each Member belongs to one of the memberships.
Memberships can be free, or have different prices.

Each membership can be setup with unique or shared content allowing you to have pages, banners, etc only usable by specific memberships.
The header/theme/content of every page in the members area can be customized for each membership.

 

MANAGING MEMBERSHIPS

When logged in as the admin go to "Memberships".  On this page you can add new membership as well as edit/delete existing ones.

A. With direct payment turned on, if there are multiple memberships setup, then a drop down appears for the person to select which membership to join.  This controls if the membership appears in that drop down.

A. If admin access is set to yes, then members belonging to that membership are able to access all pages that an admin can access.

Q. When using direct payment option how can a person upgrade and have more then 1 membership?

A. A member cannot belong to more than 1 membership. Instead, you can setup so each membership has different content.
Then make the membership that the member upgrades to include all the content from the member's original membership.
You can do this by setting up content groups and attaching them to content.

Q. How to delete all members in a specific membership?

A. The easiest way, if possible, is in the database to temporarily make any suspended members active.  Then make all the members in the membership suspended.  Then from members delete to delete all suspended members.  Then suspend the members that were previously suspended.
