The external billing tool allows you to sell things other than membership to your system. For example, you can sell items to the public that you drop ship for your members. Also, you can sell tickets to conferences or events. You can sell basically anything you want.
Commission Tracking Integration
When the external billing tool is combined with the commission tracking tool you can allow members to earn money from items they and their downline sale. You can use a notify URL to have an API or any other page/code notified each time a product purchase is made. With this you can set it up so an account at another website is created automatically when someone purchases the product.
